I, Harry, have always loved to play sports. I have been a sportsperson in my school and university days, Rugby being my passion. It all began during the years 1986 and 1987. I was in the team which participated in the Waratah Shield in 1986 and eventually made their run up to the quarter final. It is noteworthy that the Waratahs are one of the five regional franchises in Australia. Though we could not move beyond that, it was a personal exhilarating experience winning till the quarter finals.

I joined Bankstown Boys High School in 1987. Being at the High School provided me the first opportunity to showcase my Rugby skills on a much bigger platform. The break came when I went for the Australian School Boys selection for playing Rugby. I played the Rugby Union, which is a competition that sees a large number of participants of different age groups having varied interest levels in this sport. At the State level competition, I played in the Under 15 age group and once again, we had the winning streak till the quarter finals. I won the Best and the Fairest Award for Rugby Union and Basketball consecutively in the years 1986 and 1987. These years were the proverbial silver lining in my sporting career.

1988 to 1992 were the University days. I joined Sydney University and took up regular University courses along with the TAFE courses pertaining to economics and accounts. Unfortunately, I found the going tough and failed to graduate. Nevertheless, I have been active in business. I am on the boards and one among the management of some companies. All along these years, I have been engaged in the retail and the telecommunication sectors, taking care of the corporate and the financial activities.
